Chemistry for Engineering
The Samueli School of Engineering offers a general chemistry course (ENGR1A) designed exclusively for engineering students. The prerequisites for the course are a score of 2 or 3 on the AP Chemistry exam, a score of 550 or higher on the SAT Chemistry Subject exam, or a score of 85 percent or higher on the Engineering Chemistry Placement exam. Engineering majors have first consideration for enrollment in ENGR1A (4 credits).
