A doctorate in electrical engineering, computer engineering or computer science from a major research university is required.

Postdoctoral Scholar in Navigation, Autonomy, Wireless Communication and/or Signal Processing

The UC Irvine Samueli School of Engineering has an mmediate opening for a postdoctoral researcher in navigation, autonomy, signal processing and/or wireless communication systems in the research lab of Zak Kassas (Autonomous Systems Perception, Intelligence, & Navigation Laboratory).

Postdoctoral Scholars – Interfacial Science of Complex Concentrated Materials

The UC Irvine is currently accepting applications for two postdoctoral scholars to join an interdisciplinary research group, within the newly formed UCI-MRSEC Center for Complex and Active Materials, which is developing the interfacial science of complex concentrated materials (CCMs).  These materials are sometimes termed high-entropy alloys and ceramics.

The project includes the analysis of multichannel invasive electrode recordings from children with movement disorders during awake natural behavior. Datasets include local field potentials from depth electrodes in subcortical structures, surface EMG, scalp EEG, video and accelerometry.
