Postdoctoral Scholar Positions in Bioinspired Photonics – Laboratory for Cephalopod-inspired Materials
The UC Irvine Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering invites applicants for up to three postdoctoral scholar positions (Levels 0-2) in the Gorodetsky Group. The position requires a Ph.D. in materials science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or related fields. There are multiple openings for applicants with expertise in adaptive infrared and thermoregulatory materials, broadly defined. Expertise with nanostructure fabrication, specifically via glancing angle deposition or oblique angle deposition, is preferred. The start date is negotiable. Review of applications will begin on Aug. 14, 2023, and continue until the positions are filled.
