The computational research group of Ryan Hayes at UC Irvine has an immediate opening for a postdoctoral scholar. The postdoctoral scholar will develop molecular simulation methods with a rigorous basis in statistical mechanics for protein design calculations. The selected candidate will have access to campus computing facilities and extensive collaboration with the Mobley group. The position provides opportunities for theoretical development and protein design applications of methods that have longstanding utility in big pharma for computer-aided drug design of small molecules.
