The Communications and Events team at the Samueli School of Engineering provide marketing, media relations, photography and event planning and logistics services for the school. The team is responsible for the school's annual report, printed and online communications and social media.
The Samueli School of Engineering offers a general chemistry course (ENGR1A) designed exclusively for engineering students. The prerequisites for the course are a score of 2 or 3 on the AP Chemistry exam, a score of 550 or higher on the SAT Chemistry Subject exam, or a score of 85 percent or higher on the Engineering Chemistry Placement exam. Engineering majors have first consideration for enrollment in ENGR1A (4 credits).
