Postdoctoral Scholars – Interfacial Science of Complex Concentrated Materials

The UC Irvine is currently accepting applications for two postdoctoral scholars to join an interdisciplinary research group, within the newly formed UCI-MRSEC Center for Complex and Active Materials, which is developing the interfacial science of complex concentrated materials (CCMs).  These materials are sometimes termed high-entropy alloys and ceramics.

Postdoctoral Scholar Position – Schoenung Group

A postdoctoral position is available in the field of green engineering and sustainable development of materials in Professor Julie Schoenung’s laboratory in UCI’s Department of Materials Science and Engineering. The postdoctoral scholar will conduct research on multiple criteria decision-analysis-based approaches to advancing the sustainable use and development of materials in a variety of applications. Analytical methods will include but not be limited to alternatives assessment, environmental impact assessment and economic feasibility evaluation. Applicants should be recent Ph.D.
