Office of Research Development

Mission Statement



The mission of the Office of Research Development is to encourage and advance research activities at The Henry Samueli School of Engineering at UC Irvine. The office provides support in developing major initiatives and interdisciplinary proposals involving private/and or governmental sponsorship. It also facilitates coordination with other academic and administrative units on campus.



About Research Development



The research development team in The Henry Samueli School of Engineering is focused on developing and maintaining strong connections with industry, government and academia in order to continuously strengthen and enhance the research programs at the School and serve societal and industry needs. The research development team seeks opportunities for collaboration that are appropriate for the Samueli School. A key aspect of this mission includes supporting the faculty of the School in the pursuit of research initiatives.
