Body Electric: an Exhibit by Professor Simon Penny

Body Electric combines active sensing in interactive cultural experience with the study of such systems in neuroscience. It is the collaboration between Professor Simon Penny, Electrical and Computer Engineering and Director of the Arts, Computation and Engineering graduate program in The Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Malcolm MacIver, a mechanical engineering postdoctoral scholar at Caltech. The exhibit studies the sensory systems of fish that use weak electric fields to "see" the world around them.
