Help UCI to Help You...

In just a few weeks, UCI alumni will be given the rare opportunity to share college experiences as they receive a campus update from friendly fellow Anteaters. During the week of May 12th, current UCI students will be contacting engineering alumni to discuss recent developments in The Henry Samueli School of Engineering. Please welcome this opportunity to chat with the students, and respond positively to their efforts.

Over the past years, UCI has received national recognition for its outstanding accomplishments (.pdf file requires Adobe™ Acrobat Reader© which may be downloaded here). The engineering graduate school is ranked in the top 50 across the nation, and UCI is ranked in the top 15 among all public universities nationwide. UCI alumni have lots to be proud of, especially considering how much the school has accomplished in just a few short years. Alumni support is essential to continuing this success, and UCI's growing reputation.

Support from engineering alumni provides unrestricted funding to the school. Not only does it help us recruit the brightest and most talented students, and attract world-renowned faculty, but it also provides these students with the best programs of study, and state-of-the-art research facilities. Alumni offerings also provide research funding, scholarships, fellowships and grants, facilities and so much more. In return, alumni benefit from pledging their support, as their generous gifts/donations help elevate UCI's reputation, and the value of a UCI engineering degree in the community and industry.

Remember that students look up to fellow Anteater graduates, so please help them make the best of their college career by taking advantage of this opportunity to give back to the school, and help support the students, faculty, programs and research opportunities at UCI. Together we can achieve our vision in "Engineering a Brighter Future at UC Irvine."
