Heydari Elected to IEEE Society Governing Board

Nov. 8, 2017 - The IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society has elected Payam Heydari, Samueli School electrical engineering and computer science professor, to its governing body, the Administrative Committee. AdCom members serve three-year terms, during which they oversee conferences, publications, education projects, chapters, finances and other society activities. They also advocate for the society’s 9,000-plus members worldwide. Heydari will officially join the committee on Jan. 1, 2018.

“It is an honor for me to serve on the IEEE SSCS AdCom,” Heydari said. “I am humbled that the society has recognized me as a role model and that other society members look to my leadership to bring new ideas and represent the interest of our members.”
