Walking with the Dean
Meet in front of Engineering Hall
Magnus Egerstedt
Stacey Nicholas Dean of Engineering
UCI Samueli School
Every other Tuesday, Magnus Egerstedt, the Stacey Nicholas Dean of Engineering, will start the day by walking around UCI’s Ring Road (approximately 30 minutes). Walking with the Dean is designed as a countermeasure to all the time people spend sitting in their offices, as well as an opportunity for community building. Faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends of the Samueli School of Engineering are welcome to join – the more the merrier!
Starting point: Outside entrance of Engineering Hall
Departure time: 8:30 a.m. sharp!
Please note the following rules apply:
- No signup needed.
- Dates are subject to change, check back for updates.
- Wear reasonable shoes.
- Don’t ask the dean for money during the walk.
- Have fun!
