The University of California, Irvine (UCI) and Tel Aviv University (TAU) are proud to initiate the 5th annual UCI/TAU workshop that will be dedicated to Functional and Nanomaterials. The workshop mission is to present and discuss the issues involved in the higher education of engineers and scientists and how the materials technologies will transform innovation in 2025.

This fifth international meeting will host scientists, industrialists and entrepreneurs in a forum to exchange expert insights on open issues related to the theme of the meeting, while exposing participants to state-of-the-art research in the field. The meeting will strengthen existing and enable new international partnerships on bi-national and multi-national research collaborations. The conference will specifically focus on: Energy and Sustainability, Electronic Materials and 3-D Printing, and Advanced Materials and Characterization. There will be also an Industry Leadership Panel to lead the discussion on disruptive technologies.
