About the Speaker:


Bob Kleist founded Printronix in 1974 and serves as its president, CEO and a director. His previous experience included co-founding Pertec Computer Corporation and serving in engineering and management assignments at Ampex, Link Aviation and Magnavox. Kleist holds 17 patents for peripheral and control systems, and he received a B.S.E.E. degree from Kansas University and an M.S.E.E. degree from Stanford University.

He has served on the Seagate Technology board of directors, the Stanford Engineering Advisory Committee, and U.C. Irvine Engineering and Information and Computer Science Advisory Committees. He is a co-author of the 2004 book, "RFID Labeling: Smart Labeling Concepts & Applications for the Consumer Packaged Goods Supply Chain.”
