Mosallam Named Distinguished Honorary Professor by Future University in Egypt
April 27, 2022 – Ayman Mosallam, professor of civil and environmental engineering, has been named a Distinguished Honorary Professor at the Future University in Egypt. The distinction recognizes Mosallam’s “outstanding contributions in the field of advanced smart materials and his international professional leadership in green buildings and affordable housing.”
Mosallam’s research focuses on topics related to structural and earthquake engineering with a specialization in advanced composites and hybrid systems for infrastructure applications. He has been involved in research projects dealing with the development and verification of innovative seismic repair and rehabilitation systems for reinforced concrete, masonry, wood and steel structures.
