TechPortal launched at Calit2 to nurture startup companies marketing UCI-generated inventions

The California Institute for Telecommunication and Information Technology (Calit2) will showcase TechPortal, a new technology-business incubator at the California Institute for Telecommunications & Information Technology at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 20, during its semiannual “Igniting Technology” event. 

This incubator will help speed university-generated innovation from lab to market by offering affordable space, technical assistance, mentoring opportunities and networking prospects to fledgling UCI-based companies struggling to gain traction in the marketplace.
