Assistant Specialist Position – Adams Research Group
The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at UC Irvine invites applicants for an assistant specialist position focused on characterizing the electrical and biological properties of stem cells for cell sorting applications. The applicant should have experience with cell culture, differentiation, immunocytochemistry and other bioassays. Good organization, communication and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team setting are essential.
Candidates should have a master's degree in chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, biological sciences or a related field.
The initial appointment will be for a one-year period, with the possibility of an extension depending on performance and availability of funding.
