Postdoctoral Scholar in Wireless Communications and Radionavigation

$50,760-$61,308 (commensurate with qualifications and years of experience)

Immediate opening for a postdoctoral researcher in radionavigation and wireless communication systems at the Autonomous Systems Perception, Intelligence, & Navigation Laboratory ( at UC Irvine ( Desired qualifications include a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering, aerospace engineering or a closely related field; knowledge of wireless communications and/or GNSS; demonstrated hands-on expertise in software-defined radio (SDR) design and implementation; strong programming skills (MATLAB, LabVIEW, and/or C++); publications in relevant top-tier journals and conference proceedings; strong communication, presentation and documentation skills; and ambition to become a leader in the field (e.g., professor, senior R&D engineer, managing technical director, program manager, etc.). The position duration is a minimum of one year, extendable up to three years, but not to exceed five years.
