Postdoctoral Scholar - Hochbaum Group

The Hochbaum Lab in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at UC Irvine is seeking applications for a postdoctoral scholar in the field of chemical regulation of bacterial biofilm behavior. Applicants should have experience in bacterial culture techniques, analytical chemistry, and experimental techniques for quantitative analysis of bacterial physiology. Candidates must have a doctorate in a relevant field of biology, chemistry or engineering. The initial appointment would be for one year, with the possibility of an extension, depending on performance.
