Applicants should hold a doctorate or equivalent degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline and will be expected to establish a vigorous and internationally recognized externally funded research program, maintain a strong publication record, advise students, provide outstanding teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and contribute their leadership and innovative thinking toward an excellent science and engineering program within the department and the university. Successful candidates will also be expected to contribute toward increasing the number of students (especially underrepresented minority students) pursuing graduate degrees in related programs.
Applicants should upload a cover letter, a curriculum vitae (including a complete publication list), a two -or three- page concise statement of future research plans and a teaching statement. A separate statement that addresses past and/or potential contributions to diversity, equity and inclusion should also be included in the application materials.
