Specialist - Synthetic Biology, Yeast Genetics and Molecular Biology

 

The UCI Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) in the Henry Samueli School of Engineering is currently accepting applications for a specialist to join the laboratory of Chang C. Liu. Assistant Professor Liu's laboratory designs and applies orthogonal genetic systems to accelerate or decelerate evolution, to reinterpret the genetic code, and to record non-genetic information.

The Department of Biomedical Engineering in the Henry Samueli School of Engineering is currently accepting applications for a Jr. or Assistant Specialist to perform experiments to reset epigenetic controls and boost energy production as investigational approaches to improve memory in an Alzheimer mouse model.  The position will be under the supervision of Professor Gregory Brewer.  The initial appointment will be full-time for one year.  Renewal of the appointment will be contingent upon the quality of performance and availability of funding.

Specialist in Polymer Materials for Optical Device Packaging - Shi Lab

The Optoelectronics Packaging and Materials research lab is seeking a highly-motivated, ambitious individual to join our multi-disciplinary research team at the University of California, Irvine, as a Specialist. Our laboratory has been at the frontier in the development of the next generation of polymer-based materials for various optoelectronic devices and device packaging and manufacturing applications.
