E-Week Day 3
High School Shadow Day is an outreach event where 200 tenth and eleventh grade students from underprivileged local high schools are invited onto the UC Irvine campus to learn about engineering and gain a sneak peek into college life. Throughout the course of the day, they will interact with engineering students, watch fascinating demonstrations presented by different engineering student organizations, and engage in a design project that tests their creativity and ingenuity. Shadow Day enlightens students about the opportunities open to them and motivates them to pursue higher education. There will also be a Senior Advising panel open to the students.
Come out and socialize with your engineering peers and professors while enjoying FREE FOOD. Hamburgers, veggie burgers, chips and drinks will be served by engineering club representatives.
