Postdoctoral Scholar with Professor Mo Li
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at UC Irvine invites applications for a postdoctoral scholar position beginning April 1, 2018.
The postdoctoral scholar position is in the area of materials and structures with a focus on concrete 3-D printing and additive manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have knowledge and background in one or preferably a combination of the following fields:
- Additive manufacturing
- Materials science
- Civil engineering
The postdoctoral scholar will work with Professor Mo Li (http://engineering.uci.edu/users/mo-li) and her research group to conduct interdisciplinary research to address challenges in a new field of materials science - digital concrete materials science. The initial appointment will be for a 12-month period, renewable subject to performance and continuation of project funding. Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience. Minimum qualifications include a doctorate in civil engineering, mechanical science, mechanical engineering or a related field.
