Postdoctoral Scholar – Postdoc in Dynamics and Control


The Aeronautics, Dynamics and Control Laboratory (ADCL) at the University of California, Irvine is currently accepting applications for a postdoctoral scholar position. The research will focus on developing new analytic tools to design vibrational control systems. We are seeking an individual with a strong background in higher-order averaging, perturbation techniques, Floquet theorem and vibrational control. A Ph.D. in mathematics, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or a related field is required. Experience with one or more of the above topics is required. Experience in differential geometric control is a plus.
