Postdoctoral Scholar – Da Silva Group
The Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science at the University of California, Irvine invites applicants for a postdoctoral scholar to engineer eukaryotes for high-level protein expression, enhanced stability and increased productivity. The applicant should have experience in yeast and mammalian cell culture, molecular cloning, CRISPR-Cas9, protein expression and purification, rt-PCR and HPLC. Good organization, communication and ability to work in a team setting are essential.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in chemical engineering, biomedical engineering or a related field.
